Job Title: Maintenance Specialist
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our team at HRM Services. As a key member of our facilities department, you will play a crucial role in preserving the condition and functionality of our properties.
About the Job:
- The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- You will be responsible for surveying buildings, performing routine maintenance tasks, and addressing any issues that arise.
- Additionally, you will assist in setup of systems and conduct repairs as necessary, maintain heating and plumbing systems for optimal functionality.
- To succeed in this role, you must be able to navigate smart phone and electronic work orders, inspect alarm systems (fire, protection), and schedule repairs when needed.
- You will also perform manual repairs as necessary (fix locks, replace windows) and demonstrate a willingness to perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including painting, HVAC troubleshooting, janitorial, inspections, landscaping, snow removal, etc.
Requirements:
- Maintenance experience is preferred, with a focus on detail-oriented work and basic technology skills (smart phone/computer).
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with a certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or relevant field being a plus.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification is desired.
