What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Foreman position at HrMarc Co?
We are looking to hire an experienced bilingual concrete foreman to supervise our concrete workers and oversee all jobsite activities.
The concrete foreman's responsibilities include evaluating the performance of concrete workers, ensuring that project costs are kept within budget, and investigating work-related accidents. Work hand-in-hand with the field (No “read plans only” foreman) and manage crew members in an efficient and professional manner. The foreman also will be able to manage project materials and resources as well as supervise the use of equipment and tools. Can operate heavy machinery (skid steer and excavator) and dirt work experience is a plus. The foreman also should have the ability to pull a trailer.
Coordinates with company superintendents and project managers on the procurement of materials, scheduling and durations of projects. Must be able to correctly interpret plans, blueprints, and drawings. Keep accurate records of the number of employee hours worked and the number of materials used for each project.
Concrete Foreman Requirements:
1. High school diploma or GED.
2. 1 to 3 years of proven experience working as a concrete foreman.
3. Driver's license.
4. The ability to interpret plans, drawings and plans.
5. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
6. Excellent management and leadership skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
