About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to develop and deploy Generative AI (GenAI) solutions in a commercial business setting. This role involves working with advanced AI technologies, including :
Vector databases
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) approaches
End-to-end AI pipelines
The goal is to deliver actionable insights and innovative AI-driven solutions to business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Model Development - Design, develop, and optimize RAG models for effective information retrieval and business decision-making.
Vector Database Management - Utilize vector databases & advanced indexing techniques for efficient data storage and retrieval in conversational AI contexts.
LLM Fine-Tuning - Optimize and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) for enhanced performance.
NLP & AI Techniques - Implement and experiment with cutting-edge NLP and AI techniques to improve AI product capabilities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with business units, platform engineers, and software engineers to integrate GenAI models into production systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Research & Innovation - Stay up-to-date with Generative AI advancements and data science technologies.
Stakeholder Communication - Present findings & recommendations through clear reports and presentations.
Qualifications
Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field
Proven experience in developing & deploying Generative AI models in business settings
Strong Python, R, or similar programming skills
Proficiency in data manipulation & analysis (SQL, Pandas, NumPy)
Solid understanding of statistical analysis & data visualization techniques
Excellent problem-solving skills & ability to work independently & collaboratively
Strong communication skills - ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) & Computer Vision
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
Experience in project management & leading data science initiatives
