Type of Position :
6-month contract position to start. Possible for extension, long term likely for direct hire.
Job Location :
Spartanburg, SC (100% on site role).
Compensation :
30.00 / hr to $35.00 / hr (depending on experience). Overtime will be paid at 1.5x.
Candidate Requirements :
This role is with a major defense contractor and is subject to federal government requirements. Due to the nature of the work and security clearance requirements, this position is open only to U.S. citizens. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders), H1B visa holders, and other work-authorized individuals are not eligible. While a Secret clearance is not required to start, candidates must be eligible to obtain one, which is only available to U.S. citizens. Additionally, candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for cannabis in compliance with federal regulations. Exceptions, including medical marijuana cards, cannot be accommodated.
Benefits :
- Benefits will be available including health insurance, dental, vision, 401k, etc. Benefit eligibility will begin on the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment.
- This role will have 5 days PTO (which accrue over time). In going direct hire, there will be significantly more PTO.

HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a major defense contractor and specialty vehicle manufacturer to hire a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator. This role will support a large-scale hiring initiative for the production of the Next Generation Delivery Vehicle (NGDV) for the U.S. Postal Service. This role will support a 900-person hiring ramp-up over the next 12 months, primarily focusing on assisting with the hiring process for assemblers and production roles. While this is not a recruiting position, the HR Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring a smooth hiring process by handling candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding support. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional looking to gain experience in high-volume hiring and workforce coordination within a major defense and manufacturing environment. There is also a direct hire path for candidates who perform well in this role.
