What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Analyst position at HRU Inc Technical Resources?
Position Description
Responsible for executing the provisioning effort for assigned programs, including :
Research, development, preparation, loading, manipulation, and maintenance of provisioning parts data
Preparing provisioning documentation for delivery to internal and external customers using provisioning and sparing techniques and technologies
Developing various provisioning and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) Records documentation in accordance with applicable military standards
Preparing technical portions of spare parts lists, Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD), Illustrated Parts Breakdown (IPB), Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL), and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs)
Analyzing spare and repair part requirements and providing project estimates, as needed
Skills Required
Detailed knowledge of applicable Military Standards used for developing Logistics Management Information (LMI) data
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Ability to define and / or forecast support requirements
Familiarity with logistics design influence
Proficient with software and tools for LMI-related activities
Ability to plan and document using LSA / LSAR (Logistics Support Analysis / Record), covering the development, testing, and deployment of logistics resources as part of the acquisition process
Experience in conducting customer meetings (internal / external), validations / verifications, logistics demonstrations, LSA / LSAR reviews, and in-process reviews
Computer literacy with the ability to interpret Military Standards and engineering drawings
Skills Preferred
Experience with relevant LMI applications in a defense environment
Awareness or basic understanding of the ten Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements
Experience Required
Relevant Associate degree plus an additional 6 years of experience; or relevant Bachelor's degree plus an additional 2 years of experience
Military experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
Education Preferred
