Candidate Requirements :
This role is open to US Citizens and Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders). Candidates on F1-CPT, F1-OPT, H1B or TN visas are also permitted in this role. This company is NOT open to corp2corp (c2c) or corp2hire (c2h) - no exceptions. All candidates must be able to work directly with us on a W2.
Job Location :
This will be a hybrid role based in Bellevue, WA (generally 3 days in office, 2 remote). We may consider non-local candidates, but you will need to be willing to relocate to the Bellevue, WA area. Limited relocation assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis.
Compensation :
We are generally seeking candidates in the $60.00 / hr to $85.00 / hr pay range (but this will depend on candidate expectations, experience, etc). There may be additional flexibility for well-qualified candidates. Overtime will be paid at 1.5x over 40 hours.

HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a global digital technology services company (which provides services such as digital transformation, product engineering, and data analytics) all over the world. We are seeking a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to work at a leading USA wireless network operator at their Bellevue, WA facility.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee the network onboarding process for new users and systems into our Cloud environment.Provision and configure network resources in Cloud, ensuring compliance with security policies and government regulations.Implement secure network architectures, including Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, routing tables, and network access control lists across AWS, Azure, and other cloud platforms.Configure and manage cloud networking services for secure connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments, such as AWS Direct Connect, Azure VPN Gateway, and transit gateways.Implement network security controls, such as security groups, network firewalls, and web application firewalls to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats.Monitor network traffic and security logs using cloud services for flow logs, activity trails, and threat detection to identify and respond to potential security incidents.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure integration of applications and services into the cloud network infrastructure.Conduct regular network assessments and audits to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.Develop and maintain comprehensive network security policies, procedures, and documentation in compliance with security standards.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Cloud network-related issuesStay up-to-date with the latest cloud networking services, security features, and best practices across multiple platformsQualifications :
Assesses the candidate's experience with the network onboarding process and provisioning in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.Evaluates the candidate's experience with automation tools for network configuration and management.Measures the candidate's hands-on experience with cloud networking services across AWS, Azure, and other major cloud providers.Assesses the candidate's in-depth knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and best practices for secure network design and implementation.Evaluates the candidate's knowledge of government network security standards and compliance requirements.Measures the candidate's relevant certifications which indicate their proficiency and expertise in cloud.We prefer someone with previous telecom experience (but that isn't required).Work Environment :
This is a 1st (day) shift role.There may be occasional overtime in this role. Any OT will be paid at 1.5x.Please note, this is a hybrid role. Candidates must be able to commute 3 days per week to our office in Bellevue, WA (2 days per week will be remote).Offer will be contingent upon a drug screen (which includes cannabis) and a background check.EOE (including Disability / Veterans)
