Position: Project Engineer
Location: Lansing, MI
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000

Your Role as a Project Engineer

Step into a dynamic environment where you'll be a key contributor to successful construction projects. From pre-construction to closeout, you’ll collaborate, problem-solve, and lead with purpose.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate on project proposals and estimates during the pre-construction phase.
• Serve as the communication hub, ensuring clear and consistent updates to all stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, process change orders, and find opportunities to reduce costs.
• Promote and uphold the highest safety standards, addressing concerns and driving corrective actions.
• Support smooth project closeouts and successful handoffs to clients.
• Build trust and foster strong relationships across teams and partners.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field – or equivalent hands-on experience.
• At least 1 year of project management experience in construction or engineering.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a natural leadership style.
• Proactive, resourceful, and driven to find solutions.
• A strong work ethic and commitment to deadlines.
• Big-picture thinker with a sharp eye for detail.
• Tech-savvy and eager to learn new systems.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• High emotional intelligence and the ability to build strong connections with diverse teams.
• Experience using tools like Procore, Viewpoint, or Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination.
• A passion for innovation and creative problem-solving.
