Job Location:
Lubbock, TX area. This is a hybrid (but primarily remote) role. Candidates will need to be on site 1 day per week at our Lubbock, TX facility. We’re flexible on which day.

Compensation:
$20.00/hr. Overtime paid at 1.5x over 40 hours.

Job Description / Duties:
HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a major chemical, research, and agriculture organization to hire Data Entry Clerk for our facility in Lubbock, TX. This will be a primarily remote role with 1 day per week required on site (flexibility on which day). This position works in our Cotton Seed Supply division to provide support to the Cotton Planning Team with a variety of responsibilities, including inventory management, data collection, master data management, and administrative tasks. You will play a critical role in ensuring data accuracy and supporting efficient seed supply operations.

Responsibilities:
Data Entry and Inventory Management

• Input and update data in digital spreadsheets and databases.
• Verify data accuracy and make corrections as needed.
• Post inventory records into SAP and maintain up-to-date inventory information.

Quality Analysis

• Monitor Bills of Lading to ensure timely receipt of required samples.
• Verify that correct tests are performed, and standards are met.
• Collaborate with production managers to classify batches to proper quality status or release them for shipment upon approval.

Master Data Management

• Handle material extension requests and resolve issues related to BOMs (Bill of Materials), recipes, production versions, quality inspection plans, and costing.
• Collaborate with Finance and Controlling teams to ensure accurate costing information.
• Perform periodic analysis of materials to identify and minimize cost variances.
• Participate in monthly financial variance review meetings.

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Utilize desktop tools to extract and download data from SAP.
• Develop reports using tools like BW and PowerBI, and create visualizations such as charts, graphs, and KPIs.
• Conduct inventory analysis and present data to assist the Head of Seeds Supply in making informed, data-driven decisions.

General Support

• Assist the Seed Supply Team with additional tasks as needed.
• Support the administration in day-to-day operations

Qualifications:
Required Skills, Experience and Education:

• This is a fairly entry level role, but we’re looking for 1-3 years of relevant experience. There will be training as a part of this role.
• High school diploma or GED is required (this will be verified).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Knowledge of data analysis tools such as Power BI is a plus.

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• 1st (day) shift role. Standard schedule is 8:00am to 5:00pm (with a 30 minute lunch).
