Job Title : Electrical Technician I
Location : Livonia, MI
Job Type : Long-term Contract
Job Pay : $20-23 / hr
Special Requirement : You must have your own tools
Job Summary :
Join a dynamic and supportive team as an Electrical Technician I, where you will play a vital role in preparing, assembling, and testing electrical systems to ensure high-quality product performance and safety. With opportunities to collaborate on cross-functional projects and receive mentorship, this position offers a hands-on, growth-focused environment for developing technical skills in the electrical and automotive industries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assemble, install, and conduct functional and safety tests on wiring using hand tools and assembly techniques, guided by work instructions (prints, cut sheets, sample harnesses).
- Interpret and follow blueprints, bills of materials (BOM), schematics, and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).
- Validate wire harness assemblies for quality and compliance.
- Perform teardown and rework of donor harnesses.
- Maintain an organized inventory of project parts and supplies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to achieve goals efficiently.
- Participate in daily shop organization and cleanup to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
