This initiative aims to enhance landlord services through improved customer service, self-service capabilities, electronic rent payments, and accurate payment tracking across all programs and tenants. Significant enhancements are needed to meet the project's original objectives.
Position Description: The business objectives of the CurRent NYC initiative include developing an application that enhances customer service for all landlords doing business with HRA. This will consist of self-service capabilities, facilitate electronic rent payments, and ensure accurate payments to landlords across all programs and tenants (the "golden" record concept). The current system in production supports CityFHEPS application submission, processing, and eligibility determinations and tracks CityFHEPS landlord and property records. It also enables landlords to create online accounts to submit updated information, view limited payment history, and enroll in electronic payments. However, significant enhancements are required to achieve the envisioned process improvements and fully meet the original project objectives.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 4 Years Experience in SDLC, including middleware technologies.
- Minimum 4 Years Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including explaining technical concepts and technologies to business leaders and business concepts to the IT workforce.
- Minimum 4 Years of Understanding of current and emerging middleware technologies and the best practices.
- Minimum 4 Years of excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, planning, and execution skills.
- Minimum 4 Years of ability to build partnerships with other stakeholders inside of the IT organization.
