Position Description: We seek a skilled and experienced Program Manager with expertise in systems acquisition and program management. This role is vital to developing and delivering advanced systems and weapons for national defense. The Program Manager will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and evaluation of complex acquisition programs. They will apply comprehensive knowledge of program management principles, policies, and practices to support critical systems’ development, production, and deployment. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills will be essential to ensure the timely, cost-effective service delivery that meets mission objectives for our government and military partners.

Position Responsibilities:

• Program Management and Oversight: Ensure alignment of acquisition programs with cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize qualitative and quantitative methods to gather, analyze, and measure the effectiveness of acquisition programs. Provide comprehensive reports on program performance to senior management, highlighting key areas of risk and opportunity.
• Acquisition Strategy Development: Develop and recommend effective strategies for system acquisition, including assessments of the development, production, and deployment phases of weapons systems and associated equipment.
• Schedule and Cost Management: Monitor and assess program schedules, cost baselines, and performance metrics. Recommend solutions to address potential issues and identify alternative courses of action as necessary.
• Communication and Documentation: Prepare and deliver high-quality program documentation, including briefings, reports, and plans. Effectively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure program success.
• Risk Management and Coordination: Lead risk mitigation efforts and track program risks effectively.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Support program management reviews, senior-level meetings, and other related sessions. Lead the preparation of program status updates and acquisition tasks.
• Regulatory Compliance: Support preparing statutory and regulatory reports (e.g., DAES, MAR) and ensure compliance with applicable acquisition regulations and standards.
• Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate all preparatory work for key team meetings, ensuring all necessary information is available, and key stakeholders are involved in decision-making.

Required Experience and Skills:

• 10 years of experience as a Program Manager with at least 3 years in a DoD environment. Or 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
• Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree, preferably in Computer Science or a STEM Program.

• Experience with acquisition reports (e.g., DAES, MAR), regulatory compliance, and DoD acquisition processes.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks and tools used in large-scale DoD acquisition programs.
