SAP Onsite IS Oil Specialist

Job Description:

The SAP Onsite IS Oil Specialist (Program Level) is responsible for providing expertise in SAP solutions for the oil and gas industry. This role requires working closely with clients to ensure that SAP IS-Oil modules are effectively integrated and customized to meet business needs. The specialist will oversee program-level implementations, working across multiple SAP projects to ensure efficient operations and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP IS-Oil Expertise:

Provide expert knowledge in SAP IS-Oil modules such as SAP IS-Oil Upstream, Downstream, Retail, and Logistics.

Advise on best practices for oil and gas business processes and ensure SAP solutions are aligned with industry standards.

Participate in the design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions tailored to the oil and gas sector.

Program-Level Support:

Manage and oversee the implementation of SAP IS-Oil across multiple projects, ensuring they meet program objectives and timelines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and effective usage of SAP IS-Oil solutions in complex program environments.

Act as a key point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams during the lifecycle of the program.

Business Process Optimization:

Analyze business requirements, identify gaps in processes, and propose SAP solutions to streamline operations.

Facilitate workshops and sessions with stakeholders to define business needs and translate them into SAP IS-Oil configurations.

Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of implemented SAP solutions.

Implementation and Support:

Provide guidance and support during the deployment phase to ensure smooth system implementation.

Ensure proper configuration and integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems.

Lead troubleshooting and resolve any system or process issues in a timely manner.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work closely with clients, business analysts, project managers, and technical teams to ensure the successful delivery of SAP solutions.

Provide leadership in steering committee meetings and project status reviews, addressing any potential roadblocks or issues.

Maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders to ensure continued alignment between business needs and SAP capabilities.

Training and Documentation:

Develop and conduct training programs for end-users and key stakeholders to ensure effective use of the SAP IS-Oil system.

Prepare comprehensive documentation on configuration, processes, and workflows for future reference and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

5 years of experience working with SAP IS-Oil modules in the oil and gas industry.

Strong knowledge of SAP IS-Oil Upstream, Downstream, Retail, and Logistics functionalities.

Proven experience in leading large-scale SAP implementations, particularly in the oil and gas domain.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP WM).

Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior-level stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment and deliver under tight deadlines.
