About Us:
HSAD is the in-house creative agency for LG Electronics, tasked with delivering high-quality, innovative production solutions across various media platforms. We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Studio Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role will be integral in supporting all aspects of the production process, from pre-production to post-production, ensuring smooth day-to-day studio operations.
Job Overview: As a Production Studio Assistant, you will work alongside the studio production team to maintain a well-organized, clean, and efficient Virtual Studio LED environment and assorted storage spaces. You will be responsible for supporting studio prep, managing inventory, organizing production equipment, assisting with set-ups, and contributing to overall production logistics. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Studio Organization & Prep:
- Assist with the organization and management of all studio equipment, including lighting, grip, camera, and props.
- Help with studio prep for shoots, including setting up production equipment, moving props, and preparing appliances for use in shoots.
- Manage pre-production and post-production strike, ensuring all equipment and props are properly handled and stored.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the studio, ensuring everything is organized and accessible for the team.
Inventory & Equipment Management:
- Help initiate and implement asset management systems to track, assess, and organize studio equipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure all production materials are in working order and properly stocked.
- Assist with the transportation and movement of heavy equipment, carts, furniture, and props as needed.
On-Set Support:
- Provide hands-on assistance with grip and lighting set-ups for productions.
- Help set up and deconstruct video village, cable runs, catering and craft service areas, and trash removal during and after shoots.
- Assist with any additional production needs, including furniture moving and assisting the team in meeting production goals.
General Studio Maintenance:
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and functional studio space on a daily basis.
- Support the studio team with any ad-hoc production tasks as required to ensure efficient operation.

Qualifications:
Experience:
- Previous experience in a production, studio, or related field preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with basic production equipment and processes (lighting, grip, cameras, etc.) a plus.
Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle and move heavy equipment and furniture, with a focus on safety.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects as required for studio set-ups and breaks.
- Comfortable with moving production carts, appliances, and equipment.
