About the Role
This position is responsible for supervising production operators, managing attendance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will work closely with other supervisors, production engineers, safety, quality, environment, equipment/controls, and process teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Production Supervision: Supervise production operators and coordinate their activities to meet production schedules.
- Employee Development: Coach and train operators to develop production skills and technical competencies.
- Continuous Improvement: Recommend continuous improvement activities to enhance quality and reduce costs.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing environments.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of operational tools and procedures, Microsoft Office proficiency (especially Excel), and night shift availability preferred.
