Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee the activities of production operators on the night shift. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other supervisors, production engineers, safety, quality, environment, equipment/control teams, and process teams to ensure seamless production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly supervise and coordinate production operator activities.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals.
- Monitor and improve production schedules, labor plans, attendance records, and performance appraisals.
- Cultivate a motivated workforce aligned with company objectives.
- Develop and implement continuous training programs to enhance employee skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced knowledge of operational tools and procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (especially Excel).
- Ability to perform tasks within a single production process and operate system controls.
- Night shift availability preferred but not required.
