The Wealth Relationship Development Manager plays a crucial role in building and maintaining valuable relationships with high net worth client portfolios. This involves acquiring, developing, advising, and retaining a portfolio of clients, while delivering needs-based solutions through effective communication, influencing, and sales skills.
To succeed in this role, you'll need to demonstrate strong business development skills to work with outside contacts of influence (COI) to develop self-sourced business. Experience in non-traditional banking financial sales, providing client recommendations, and increasing sales is essential.
Expert knowledge in wealth planning and wealth products, macroeconomics/microeconomics/local market developments, and external regulatory framework relevant to wealth management is also required. You should have a good understanding of how to work with Compliance, Credit & Risk, and Internal Control to ensure a balanced risk operating environment.
