The Consultant Business Systems role is based within the US Group Data Technology team as part of an HSBC wide Data Technology team that works with each Global Business/Function to consolidate and resolve cross functional data, projects, and issues.
This role will act as the IT Infrastructure to bridge between application and infra; as well as US regional business and IT to facilitate detailed needs for all projects, governed and not governed within US Data Technology. This role will focus on delivering Infrastructure setups solutions across various critical programs in HSBC US.

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

As our Consultant Business Systems you will:
- Work with Architectural and tactical recommendations for the cloud infrastructure, build and deploy pipelines, observability, and SRE practices for a variety of development teams and help them to operationalize those recommendations
- Provide the tactical planning for each release cycle, including planning for configuration management time, branching schedule, documentation time and regression testing
- Manage standard operating process such as proactive monitoring, incident handling, system release management, system maintenance, and disaster recovery
- Rolled out CICD solutions with capability such as Blue/Green and canary cloud-agnostic deployments
- Developed Docker/Kubernetes deployment, configuration, scaling and management of
- Partner with various teams to understand the source of new data and continue to improve the process of defining, extracting, and utilizing the new data
- Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
- Identify areas to increase efficiency, reengineer and automate selected processes to improve process/operation efficiencies that will enable the business to make rapid decisions and ensure successful implementation without impact the business
- Support provided for accessing the data of cross projects, Application migrations and Data migration projects from legacy environment to advanced environment.

Requirements
You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Experience building a range of Services in GCP(preferred) and AWS (a plus) & having other cloud provider knowledge
- Strong hands-on GCP and AWS knowledge
- Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and Python experience
- Cloud experience & Network Architecture
- Linux and windows development experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Specific experience & GCP Certification ( certification is a plus)

Salary : $103,300 - $155,000
