Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides direct and non-direct patient care according to their scope of practice. Understands and reacts effectively to the unique needs of all patients. Works collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team to provide safe patient care.
Qualifications:
Education
High School Diploma or GED is required
Graduate of an approved school for Medical Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, or successful completion of a Patient Care Technician program or an Active EMT license is required
1 of year of experience in patient or clinical care may be considered in lieu of education

Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
