HSHS St. John’s Hospital is seeking an LPN II to join our Medical/Surgical Unit 3. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven caregivers looking for an opportunity to apply clinical knowledge in a fast-paced environment.

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned team members.

Position Specifics:

  • Department: Medical/Surgical Unit 3
  • Schedule: Full-Time Nights (3x12 schedule) with every 3rd weekend rotation (Sat amp; Sun)
  • Facility: St. John’s Hospital
  • Location: Springfield, IL
  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
  • Compensation that aligns with experience. Shift differentials for night and weekend on top of base rate!

Education Qualifications:

  • Completion of State Approved Training Program for Licensed Practical Nurse
  • LPN License (Pass NCLEX-PN exam)

Experience Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of healthcare experience required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:

  • BLS certification required.
  • Licensed in the state of practice required.

Pay Range:

$23.15 - $34.73

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
