Examples of Key Responsibilities of the Role
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures
- Conduct site safety inspections and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and industry regulations
- Provide safety training for employees and contractors
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions
- Maintain safety records and documentation
- Certifications: OSHA 30/OSHA 500, CHST, CSP, or equivalent
- Experience: 3 years in construction safety
- Knowledge: Federal, state, and local safety regulations
- Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
