Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer / CNC Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and be proficient in creating detailed drawings and models using CAD software. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical expertise, as you will be involved in designing components for various manufacturing processes. The CAD Designer will collaborate closely with production teams to ensure designs meet specifications and are manufacturable.
Preferred candidates will have experience in the design of folding carton and layouts
Tools used: Bobst Master plot, CAD Table and Gerber Profile
Prepares CAD files, orthographic and isometric drawings, and assembly layouts for any new designs
Collaborates with supervisors to determine manufacturing tolerances and specifications.
- Demonstrates effective use of CAD software.
- Demonstrates safe, effective use of CNC machinery.
- Proactively performs preventative machine maintenance.
- Able to design functional, quality product and samples for customer approval.
- Effectively applies existing knowledge of previous design to any new projects.
- Considers all inputs, putting customer requirements first.

Able to troubleshoot and quickly correct machine or equipment complication, and report issues to supervisor as necessary.

Minimum Education
Associates Degree.
Minimum Experience
Prior drafting experience required.
Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience
Computer skills including CAD software. Ability to program and operate CNC machinery.
Working Conditions
May be required to work daily or weekly overtime as necessary as required to maintain customer service
