Overview
HSM is seeking qualified candidates for the Paint Line operator Loader and Unloader position at our Metal Plant in Hickory, NC.
Payrate: $16.39/hr
Schedule: M-F; 3:30pm - 11:30pm

Responsibilities
- Parts are brought to the line by forklift driver,
- Take parts out of bin, container or rack and are hung on the line.
- Empty container and then remove from paint line by forklift.
- Continue same process until the end of the shift.
- Attach labels as directed by Forklift Operator, Lead Person, or Supervisor.
- Place rack, bin, box, etc. in area for collection of parts. Some containers may be placed by forklift.
- Remove product from paint line.
- Put material in rack, bundle, or bin.
- Some parts require the operator to place metal banding around the part to secure to be moved out for shipment.
- Maintain safe work environment.
- Tag and label finished products.
Qualifications
- Must have excellent attendance and work record.
- Must be able to write well.
- Must be able to count and do simple math.
- Lifting 25 to 35 lbs may be required.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced production line.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to perform other duties as deemed by management.
