What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cutter position at HSM?
- Operate foam cutting equipment & machinery to cut foam materials according to specifications provided by production team.
- Inspect and measure foam materials to ensure accuracy of cuts.
- Keep the machine and work area clean and organized.
- Perform routine maintenance on the machine to ensure its smooth operation.
- Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate with the production team to ensure that materials are delivered in a timely manner.
- Troubleshoot any issues with machinery and report to the supervisor.
- Assistance with physical inventory inspection and measurement as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Experience in foam cutting preferred.
- Knowledge of different types of foam materials and their properties preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willing to train!
