What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic II- 2nd Shift position at HSM?
- Utilize the proper tools to disassemble, assist in preparing, and to reassemble machinery as directed.
- Clean and lubricate parts and machinery as directed.
- Refinish and fabricate parts as needed.
- Report any dangerous conditions to the appropriate personnel immediately.
- Clean work areas.
- Obtain parts as needed.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints.
- Install electrical conduit and electrical devices.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using a multimeter and amprobe.
- Repair safety items on Monthly Safety Inspection
Other duties assigned by Supervisor.
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid NC Drivers License
- Forklift License
