Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to work effectively with families, caregivers, and community providers. As a member of our trans-disciplinary team, you will participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits to provide individualized services to families across the catchment area.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide home-based services to families, including conducting assessments, developing and implementing Individual Family Service Plans, and providing coaching and guidance to parents and caregivers.
* Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services, including childcare providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
* Participate in trans-disciplinary team meetings to discuss case planning, share best practices, and address any challenges or concerns that may arise during service delivery.
Qualifications
* Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology from a graduate program of a college or university.
* Current licensure in Speech Pathology by the Massachusetts Board of Registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
* Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association or Clinical Fellowship Year candidate.
* Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred.
