Facilitating Communication

As an ASL Interpreter Consult, you will play a critical role in facilitating communication between parents/caregivers and early intervention staff. Your expertise will enable us to deliver tailored services that meet the unique needs of each client.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide in-person interpreting services for families, schedule visits for early intervention staff, and provide interpreting services for intake, evaluation, and home visits. You will also work closely with parents and caregivers to understand their needs and preferences, ensuring that our services are responsive to their requirements.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must possess verbal fluency in both English and the language of the specific population served. Interpreting experience is preferred, as is a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for in-person interpreting services. Additionally, you should have an understanding of the interpreter's role in promoting direct communication between providers and parents/caregivers.
