The Director of Political Data Strategy will play a pivotal role in realigning the data strategy for the Political Operations Division (POD) at OnPoint. This role involves transforming and developing a series of data strategies and processes that can be rapidly deployed for the given scenarios. The Director will work directly with Republican campaigns to source new data, quantify its value, and integrate it into OnPoint’s ecosystem, creating a competitive advantage for in-district and out-of-district fundraising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of data strategy for our political team.
- Build thriving direct mail programs that maximize net.
- Identify, procure, and test major new data sets from new or non-traditional sources.
- Collaborate with various departments, to ensure seamless integration of new data into OnPoint’s ecosystem.
- Lead the restructuring of existing data strategies for more efficient processes without sacrificing quality.
Qualifications:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience in data strategy, preferably within the political sector.
- Strong understanding of data management, data brokerage, data modeling, and data processing.
- Ability to develop and implement scalable data strategies and processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quantify the value of new data sources.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
