Responsibilities, But Not Limited to:
- Run client engagements from start to finish which includes planning, executing, managing staff, and completing financial statement audits.
- Supervise, train, and mentor staff auditors assigned to audit engagements.
- Continuously develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients during the engagement and throughout the year.
- Perform analysis of complex areas of a client’s balance sheet and income statement.
- Identify critical accounting issues under U.S. GAAP and perform audit testing and research to resolve client issues appropriately.
- Prepare financial statements and management letters as well as presentation of the results of the audit to client management.
- Represent the Firm in a positive light by maintaining a professional demeanor, dress, and attitude at all times.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of audit experience in a public accounting setting strongly preferred.
- Strong verbal communication, research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards to effectively supervise staff and solve routine engagement issues.
- Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- CPA license, or demonstrated ambition toward earning CPA license.
- Flexibility to travel to client locations.
