What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unarmed Security Guard position at HSS SECURITY?
Position Summary:
An unarmed security guard officer’s position would be to monitor and report any suspicious activities that may arise on-site. Must be able to report suspicious activity hourly through an app and submit a full report by the end of the shift. If any unauthorized persons were to come onto the property, they must be able to ask them to evacuate the property, or the police shall be called.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Must be able to stay awake and alert.
* May not leave job site during a shift without previous approval from management
*Must be able to do walk-through once an hour through shift.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
*One must have one's own reliable transportation as there will be no guard booths on site.
*Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Certifications and Licenses:
· Unarmed Security Guard License (A plus to have)
