We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all products are handled with care and efficiency. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick and pack orders based on customer requests and inventory levels.
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to transport items.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or warehouse management software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to lift itemsand stand for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
