What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandiser position at HT Hackney?
The H.T. Hackney Co is a leader in the whole sale industry. We are currently hiring a full time Merchandiser to join our team. This individual would be merchandising for Convenience stores primarily located in Illinois.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: This individual would be responsible for setting, re-setting and tagging product for existing accounts. Store locations will vary each day based on retailers remodel/reset schedules. Work consists of removing product from shelves, moving and cleaning shelves, replacing tags, and working product to shelves according to the designated sections of the plan-o-gram.
SCHEDULE: The schedule will consist of Mon-Fri work days. Must have the ability to report to work by 6am and work until approx. 4pm or until the work is done. Willing to travel 2-3 nights per week.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are looking for an individual that is highly motivated and a self-starter. Must be able to work well on your own and with others. Must display a professional attitude and appearance. Must be able to read and follow a plan-o-gram in order to execute resets efficiently. Must be able to travel throughout Michigan and surrounding states. Overnight stays are required. Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, bend, squat, and lift up to 70 lbs. Must be detailed and organized. Good driving record required. Background check required.
