Seasonal Warehouse Associate
Job Description:
The H.T. Hackney Co. is a leader in the wholesale industry, supplying convenience stores across the region. We are currently seeking Seasonal Warehouse Associates to join our team for the busy season.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Sunday night – Thursday night, 6:00 PM start time until work is completed
- Hours: 45-50 hours per week on average, with potential for additional hours depending on volume
- Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Select and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, including cooler (30°F) and freezer (-10°F) areas as needed
- Operate warehouse equipment and handle products safely
- Assist with loading trucks, building boxes, cleaning, and other warehouse tasks as assigned
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Job Requirements:
- Ability to bend, reach, stretch, and stand for the entire shift on concrete or grated floors
- Basic reading, writing, math, and counting skills required
- Must pass a drug test and background check
- Strong attendance and work ethic are required
- Comfortable working in cold storage areas when needed
