Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Resi/Comm Automation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing automation systems that have been previously installed or taken over by our company. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical and integrated systems, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure optimal system performance.
Looking for a hybrid office and field service technician who can field calls from customers and help accordingly. OR looking for a Lead field technician who has the same level of vast knowledge, but wants to be more hands on in the beginning of projects.
Duties
- Perform installation, calibration, and maintenance of automation, security, alarm, access control, and networking equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to low voltage electrical systems and industrial maintenance.
- Collaborate with field service teams to address customer service needs and provide technical support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, calibrations, and services performed on equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of automation projects.
- Provide training and support to other team members on the operation of automation systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience in low voltage electrical systems, AV, Control 4, security, and networking.
- Strong knowledge of Electrical principles and low voltage code.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to help customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
