HT Opti Lab - Lab Technician

HT Opti Lab is a lab which specializes in creating custom optical lenses for each individual to help them with their vision needs. We have a fast paced team dedicated to create custom prescription lenses for the needs of each individual client, and to help customers with their orders.

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Lab Technician produces quality eyewear through the manufacturing of customized prescription lenses. Our Team of Lab Technicians produce quality eyewear by marking, taping, blocking, generating, fining and polishing, coating , and first (surface) inspecting lenses while verifying that at every step of the way there are no defects on the lenses.

DUTIES AN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for basic operation, cleaning and ongoing maintenance of laboratory tools and equipment. Diagnoses and solves equipment issues.
• Performs multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and thoroughness despite time pressures and customer volume.
• Operates Ordering Portal inputting all order details with accuracy and attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS

• Problem solving skills
• Proficient in the use of a PC and Keyboard
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; Spanish a plus.
• Open availability Monday-Friday
• Fast paced and detailed oriented
• Optical trainig (preferred)
• Experience with machinery (preferred)
