SharePoint Administrator

Duties
- Manage SharePoint Site collections.
- Gather requirements and provide solutions on-site design, navigation, and collaboration workspaces to customers.
- Develop reference guides and provide SharePoint training to non-technical users.
- Monitor, remove, and archive outdated content while proactively updating as needed.
- Respond to change requests from the team promptly and clarify any requests that need resolution.
- Evaluate, revise, and continuously improve the Knowledge Management (KM) Framework workflow and procedures as the organization scales.
- Promote the use of KM tooling and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing using available tools.
- Support the development and implementation of training on KM processes and tooling.
- Identify and address key challenges and roadblocks to KM cultural change, developing effective programs to drive adoption and improve KM value.
- 3 years of working in a development role supporting SharePoint Online (O365)
- 2 years server-side development using ASP.Net & C# / client side using HTML/CSS/JavaScript & strong knowledge of general web development.
- 2 years of experience in administering unique SharePoint permissions and creating custom permission groups.
- 1 years of proven experience in implementing Knowledge Management strategies or in solutions delivery.
- Solid skills in XML/XSD/XSLT/CAML/LINQ
- General experience working with SQL/MS BI Stack & other DBMS
- A deep understanding of SharePoint farm architecture, services & features, site design & best practices. Including performance tuning and updating/upgrading the On-premise environment.
- Deep knowledge & understanding of the roles of SharePoint and the relationships to one another & business processes. This includes, but is not limited to: Security/Roles, Search, ECM/Metadata, Document Management, BI/PerformancePoint, Workflows/Forms, Portals, and custom web parts & features
- 2 years of experience in administering unique SharePoint permissions and creating custom permission groups.
- 1 years of proven experience in implementing Knowledge Management strategies or in solutions delivery.
- Experience in creating custom workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field. Years of experience can substitute for formal education.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows platform & network infrastructure / Cloud computing & Active Directory.
- Ability to develop and document farm-level, site-collection-level, and site-level architecture for SharePoint environment,; lead technical design reviews for architectural enhancements
- Experience using SharePoint integration with 3rd party applications & databases
- None required. Technical and/or Project management certifications from recognized sources are desirable.
