As a Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer you will represent at supplier manufacturing facilities, travelling up to 80% of the time. You will take a leadership role inside and with our suppliers regarding product launch and current model quality and capacity. You will be empowered to make quality decisions on behalf of and authorize legal documents such as the Part Submission Warrant.

Skills Required
- Candidates must possess the following skills: - Strong analytical problem solving skills.
- Strong knowledge of AIAG APQP and PPAP processes.
- Strong Manufacturing Background, Program management and basic computer skills. Quality Systems knowledge/experience.
- High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse people, leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Preferred problem-solving skills such as Green Belt / Black Belt, Red X, etc
- Minimum 5 years experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Systems/Processes (ex. IATF), Continuous Improvement, or Lean in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred manufacturing processes include: Molding, Coating/Painting, Assembly, etc Preferred commodity experience includes any one of the following: Exterior Lighting (ex. Headlamps, Taillamps), Mechanisms (ex. Latches), Glass (ex. Windshield), Moon Roofs, etc
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Engineering (ME, EE, ChE, IE).
- Professional Certifications (ex. CQE, CQM, etc) preferred.
