Recruiting is at the core of HTI. The role of the Industrial Recruiter can change lives for the better. The Industrial Recruiter is responsible for the full life-cycle recruiting process to include sourcing, screening, interviewing, and management of the hourly staffing process for our branch office in Mauldin, SC.
Essential Job Function:
- Screen applicants based on requirements set by client and HTI and schedule for orientation.
- Recruit according to established process flows for staffing based on individual customer requirements.
- Fill hourly positions within timeframes established by HTI and the client.
- Maintain an active pool of candidates that have successfully completed testing, reference checks, background checks, etc.
- Coordinate and attend job fairs on behalf of HTI and HTI’s clients, as required.
- Develop and implement creative recruiting strategies to increase candidate pool.
- Ensure employee files are complete and maintained per guidelines set forth by HTI management and quality expectations.
- Interact with representatives from the Employment Security Commission regarding applicant flow, as needed.
- Develop and maintain referral program for clients, as applicable.
- Utilize and maintain HRIS software per work instructions set forth by HTI to maximize recruiting efficiency.
- Assist/participate in trouble shooting client specific problems and finding resolutions, as requested.
- Participate in daily management meeting to review time to fill, critical openings with HTI team and client management.
- Assist Onboarding Coordinator, as needed, to conduct personnel testing tools including the PI and Wonderlic.
- Greet HTI applicants and triage based on needs as they arrive.
- Responsible for processing on-line applicants and manage phone calls as necessary.
- Responsible for managing associates who successfully complete orientation, manage their availability, make offers, review client specific information, and coordinate hire.
- Update applicant files, pool candidates, and working files in HRIS as required per work instructions.
- Serve as the applicant facing representative.
- Perform instant interviews as applicants come to the office.
- Perform other duties in support of the team as required.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
- 1 year prior recruiting experience or HR knowledge strongly preferred.
- Ability to multi-task and establish priority of work.
- Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must have good written and oral communication skills and the ability to interface with varying levels of people.
- Must have great customer service skills.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED, preferably BS/BA.
- Experience with MS Office with focus on Word and Excel.
- Must be proficient in use of the Internet.
- CSP preferred.
