Machine Operator
HTI is currently hiring second and third shift machine operators for JTEKT in Piedmont, SC. Interested candidates should have prior manufacturing experience, stable work history, the ability to lift weights of 50 pounds on a repetitive basis and will need to pass a background check and drug screening. This position does require consistent lifting of 50 pounds.
Requirements of Machine Operators
- 1-2 years manufacturing experience required
- Able to lift over 50 lbs repetitively
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Stable work history

Responsibilities of Machine Operators
- Operates production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications
- Performs required work steps within specific cycle time
- Operates presses and other manual machinery including lathes, grinders, mills and similar equipment
- Performs frequent quality checks on finished parts
- Operates test equipment and interprets pass/fail data. Experience with SAP is a plus
- Able to operate and/or learn how to operate a variety of manufacturing equipment
- Ensures batch records, equipment log books, and other relevant records are completed correctly and currently.
- Adheres to company uniform and gowning policies.
- Lifting 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- All other duties as assigned
