HTI is seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineer with a well-known food manufacturer specializing in baked goods. This position will be focused on new line & equipment integration and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). This position is Direct Hire , M-F 1st shift . The pay range is $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience.

What You Need :
BS or technical degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering field, or significant applicable technical experience.
4 years of experience providing technical engineering support in an automated manufacturing environment.
2 years of experience in project engineering, plant engineering, or other applicable technical roles.
Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
Demonstrable experience with electrical, controls, and automation.
Hands-on attitude with the willingness and ability to work closely with personnel on the shop floor.
What Your Role Will Look Like :
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for providing technical support of new manufacturing areas.
Process and equipment optimization to achieve required system performance in throughput, uptime, and quality.
Installation, startup, and commissioning of new production lines.
Shop Floor technical support of Maintenance and Operations teams, including equipment troubleshooting.
Collaboration with Operations and Continuous Improvement (CI) teams.
Management of plant or equipment improvement projects.
Demonstration of safety as a condition philosophy throughout the organization
Provide engineering support for new product innovation opportunities.
Work with Operations, Maintenance, and CI teams to develop and drive a Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM) culture including the pillars of planned maintenance and autonomous maintenance.
Serve as a mentor to operators and maintenance technicians to drive shop-floor equipment and process ownership.
Analyze and own results / KPIs and act with urgency and pace.
