Job Description: Facilities Electrical Engineer
The Facilities Electrical Engineer will be responsible for managing site electrical infrastructure from 12.7 kV site feed to substation, transformers, switchgears, MCC, distribution panels, and low-voltage control circuits. This role involves updating and troubleshooting the building automation system, managing UPS systems, coordinating with electrical contractors, and ensuring compliance with NFPA, NEC, and OSHA guidelines.
This position also supports the application software and field hardware for IP security cameras, badge access door control systems, and building automation systems. The engineer will work closely with the IT department to coordinate server operating system and application software upgrades, as well as review low-voltage LAN cabling requests.
