What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hand Placer position at HTI?
This position Load parts into furnace, sorts parts, clean parts from belts, wash pans, transfer parts from customer tubs to totes, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned.
AN OVERVIEW OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Loads parts on moving furnace belt per instructions.
• Cleans parts by unloading conveyors using compressed air, water, or various hand tools as per instructions, written or verbal.
• Sorts parts for foreign material by performing a visual inspection as per instructions, written or verbal.
• Loads totes into the pan washer to remove grease and/or oil, as per oral or written instructions.
• Transfers parts out of large tubs or wire containers into HTI totes
• Packs customer finished products.
• Cleans, makes and fills “Heat Treat Bags”.
• Performs general housekeeping duties as directed.
