What You Need :
- HS Degree required; 2- or 4-year degree strongly preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in a GMP / FDA manufacturing facility, 3 of which are in a Team Lead or Supervisory position
- Experience in an automated manufacturing environment
- SAP Experience strongly preferred
- Bottling or liquid packaging experience is strongly preferred
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship*
What Your Role Will Look Like :
The Packaging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cGMP packaging of prescription and over the counter liquid pharmaceuticals, utilizing a broad knowledge base to direct operational opportunities ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
- This supervisor will oversee a 12-hour nightshift (7p-7a), on a rotating schedule (2 on, 2 off) working every other Saturday*
- Supervise Packaging Associates day-to-day activities and provide guidance on tasks that are performed on the line.
- Provide direct leadership on the floor, monitoring the packaging process to ensure safety, compliance, and production KPIs are met
- Troubleshoot downtime and inspect equipment to ensure good condition and / or order equipment as needed.
- Report on metrics to plant leadership and other supervisors. Interface with quality and Packaging Coordinator to inform of deviations or other manufacturing issues.
- Communicate department issues & status updates
- Assist / communicate production schedules (with other Supervisors and Packaging Coordinators).
- Conduct Final Audit of Batch Records before going to Quality.
