Commercial Service Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, and appliance repair. This role involves performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various HVAC equipment in residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and effectively while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
• Provide field service support for HVAC equipment in various locations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all work performed.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
• Collaborate with property maintenance teams to address HVAC-related concerns in buildings.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and equipment repair.
• Experience in appliance repair and field service is preferred.
• Familiarity with plumbing systems as they relate to HVAC installations is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
• Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
• Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is desirable.
