USA - Quality Manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:   Responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure adherence to production quality standards Monitors and audits process, material, and product testing against established standards and conducts a continuous analysis of quality defects and deviations. Identifies deficiencies or gaps in testing activities and develops solutions to ensure adequate and robust quality processes. Performs quality checks on all finished products Ensures proper fit up and quality of welds Ensures that proper PQR’s and WPS is being followed Establish quality program for plant Optimizes processes to comply with existing and new regulatory requirements. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.                                               GENERAL OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:   Attend meetings, draft minutes, update agenda(s) as required. Perform various other duties as assigned.     ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:   Timeliness and accuracy of completing required tasks. Quality checks and control measures followed and documented for all jobs Formulated detailed quality standards created Work in a safe manner following Health & Safety policies and procedures. Maintain an excellent attendance & punctuality record.   EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree preferred 5 years experience in Quality and Welding background preferred CWI Certification with D1.1 preferred Organized, Dependable, Excellent oral and written communication, Accurate Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams   PHYSICAL DEMANDS:   The physical demands described here are representative of those that are expected for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.   Perform work sitting and standing Employee may occasionally be exposed to moderate noise levels when out in the plant environment The employee may occasionally have to do some light lifting during the course of performing his/her job   Have specific vision abilities (Current Jaeger vision eye exam) required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
