We are looking for an experienced professional to collaborate with design, patternmaking, and production teams to ensure high-quality, well-constructed apparel from prototype to final production. Key Responsibilities :
Create Illustrator technical sketches with construction callouts.
Develop, update, and maintain technical packages with components, fabrics, measurements, and sewing instructions.
Attend fittings, evaluate garment construction, and communicate necessary corrections to factories with clear diagramming.
Partner with designers, product managers, and patternmakers to ensure product quality, fit, and aesthetic consistency.
Communicate directly with factories and vendors to address technical questions.
Maintain and track sample requirements and library for various accounts.
Lead and evaluate fit sessions to ensure proper garment adjustments.
Ensure all industry and company-specific product development procedures are followed.
Re-prioritize tasks effectively as new workflow requests emerge.
Other duties as assigned by the Head Technical Director.
Qualifications & Skills :
Education : High School Diploma or GED required; BS in Fashion Design or Associate Degree preferred.
Experience : Minimum 5 years in Technical Design.
Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
Deep knowledge of garment construction, pattern evaluation, and sewing techniques.
Ability to lead fittings and provide precise fit corrections.
Team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
Salary : $55-60K, or based on experience
