The Senior Sales Operations Manager will work cross functionally to assist in meeting and exceeding the Sales Team and End User Customer needs. Primary area of focus will be in sales process optimization, territory management capabilities, Salesforce management, sales forecasting, SAP CRM integration, data analysis and reporting, and cross functional collaboration in support of both internal and external customers. The role will additionally contribute to the development of training and support for the sales team on Salesforce and Power BI best practices and reporting tools.
Key responsibilities include :
1. Work in collaboration with Strategic Business Units, Operations, Finance and Sr. Sales Leadership to identify areas of continuous improvement for sales team utilizing Lean Principles.
2. Assist in building monthly Sales input for Demand Review to Demand Planning Leader as part of IBP process.
3. Provide sales support in SIOP via participation in monthly Demand Review meetings with Business Unit & Sales Leaders as part of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by preparing, reviewing recommended sales forecasts inputs (with emphasis on brand transitions, new product introduction, and promotions).
4. Data Analysis & Reporting : Develop and implement reporting tools and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance, pipeline management, and forecasting.
5. Salesforce Management : Administer and optimize Salesforce CRM, including user management, data integrity, report generation, and dashboard creation to support sales strategies.
6. SAP Integration : Collaborate with IT and commercial finance teams to integrate SAP solutions that support sales operations, including order management and inventory control
7. Collaborate with Customers, Sales, Business Unit Leaders, and Finance to identify sales trends and generate actionable sales strategy to meet sales plan.
8. Participate in development and maintenance of documentation and standard operating procedures for sales function SOP.
9. Performance Metrics : Support in establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales effectiveness and operational efficiency, providing actionable insights to the sales leadership team.
10. Work to develop focused strategic initiatives supporting Sr. Sales Leadership, Finance, and Sales to optimize profitability and overall sales performance through Salesforce, Power BI and other analytical tools.
11. Process Documentation : Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for sales operations, ensuring compliance and best practices
