Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist
Job Purpose: Compiles, classifies, records, verifies, and maintains payments for accounts payable and accounts receivable by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for AP/AR daily activities and weekly reconciliations
- Validate and book all Divvy expenses daily
- Responsible for Divvy weekly reconciliation
- Responsible for Amazon and FedEx weekly reconciliation
- Submit weekly payment run request
- Book weekly payments in NetSuite
- Follow up on AP issues with vendors and internal departments when needed
- Follow up on AR issues with customers and internal departments when needed
- Responsible for all customer and vendor statements
- Ad Hoc reporting and analysis tasks to support the finance team
Requirements:
- Two years' experience in Accounting/Sales Tax/Claims
- ERP system experience preferred.
- High School Diploma/GED or 2 years associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field preferred.
- Knowledge of compliance issues related to accounts payable processes (W-9 form, sales tax, etc.)
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Impressive attention to detail
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and execute effectively
- Excellent written, and oral communication/presentation skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
