The Location Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations at designated locations, reporting directly to the Location Manager. This individual must possess an in-depth understanding of their assigned location(s), foster strong relationships with clients, and optimize delivery operations to increase efficiency and business.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop leadership skills to become a proficient Location Manager
- Prioritize and manage delivery routes for maximum productivity
- Contribute to contractor recruitment and retention efforts
- Maintain a positive work culture and engage employees
- Cultivate strong working relationships with clients and the Location Manager
- Enforce operational policies and procedures
- In certain locations, oversee warehouse operations
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven track record in management and/or logistics
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and time management abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to prioritize tasks effectively and manage workload
- Demonstrates attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and develops solutions
- Negotiates effectively with individuals and groups
- Provides timely support to internal and external stakeholders
- Effective organizational and leadership skills
- Proven ability to supervise, coach, and influence employees
