What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Operator - All shifts position at Hub Group?
The Material Operator, using material handling equipment, is responsible for the accurate order picking, receiving, put-away, loading, unloading and/or shipping of product to meet company standards including safety, security, damage free, and productivity.
Available Shifts :
Weekdays $18.50/HR (1.50 shift differential for swing)
Mon-Thurs: 6:00a-4:30p
Swing: 4:00p-2:30a
Mon-Fri: 8:00a-4:30p
Weekends $20.50/HR
Fri-Sun: 6:00a-6:30p

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent related experience.
- Previous experience with material operating equipment (minimum 1 year with electric pallet jack and/or a minimum of 1-3 years with other material operating equipment).
- Previous experience using RF Scanner and WMS systems preferred.
- Ability to follow procedures and work instructions.
- Ability to read and write legibly.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers, leads, supervisors, and/or manager as to progress in tasks/functions being performed.
- Ability to perform calculations involving adding, counting, subtracting, division and multiplication.
