We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Hub Group.
In this role, you'll be responsible for assisting the Location Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, including delivery and route management, recruiting and retention of contractors, and engagement and positive culture.
- You'll work closely with the client and Location Manager to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to increase business growth.
- Your responsibilities will include adhering to operational policies, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and other duties as assigned.
We're looking for someone with prior experience in management and/or logistics, with excellent communication skills and strong leadership abilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience in management and/or logistics
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong leadership and planning ability
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills
- Must have the ability to prioritize workload and manage time
- Identifies and resolves problems, demonstrates attention to detail
- General computer skills - Microsoft Office, Outlook, AS400
